Software Download
The latest version of the TRAC4 software is v.2.3.003.
The Model DL-1 iunderwent a major update in 2011. DL-1 uses the new software program, TRAC4. Previous versions of the software used, and will continue to use, TRAC v 2.0. Both software install files are available on this page.
To determine if you have the latest version of the DL-1 and TRAC4 or a previous version and need TRAC v2.0, you will need to know what your DL-1 looks like. See below for examples.
Latest DL-1 Data Logger and Software
The latest version of the Model DL-1 Data Logger has a square body and uses four (4) screws to secure the yellow end caps on each side of the unit. It also has two (2) buttons on the face of the unit: Power and Start/Stop. For this version of the DL-1, you will need to use the TRAC4 software program. Select this version below.
USB Driver
The USB adapter for the older DL-1 and the USB cable that the new DL-1 uses requires a driver. This driver can be downloaded below. Once downloaded, open the executable file and the driver will automatically install. Reboot the computer after installation.
To determine if you have the latest version of the TRAC4 software, open the TRAC4 program on your computer and click on About... under the Help pull down menu. The installed version number is displayed on the TRAC4 splash screen that open up, on the lower Left hand side of the window.
Previous Versions of the DL-1 and TRAC v 2.0 Software
The previous version of the Model DL-1 Data Logger had a rounded body and used three (3) screws to secure the yellow end caps on each side of the unit. It also has one (1) button on the face of the unit: Start/Stop. For this version of the DL-1, you will need to use the older TRAC ver 2.0 software program. Select this version below.
